Writer Inpurr-rupted

Before Ray retired I knew I had from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to get my blogging and writing done before he came home, but now it's a free for all where at any given moment he will pop in to my office to see if I'm hungry because he is (hint hint), or to let me know that one of the cats barfed cuz he heard it but isn't exactly sure where the barf is. He might need help doing something on his laptop because while Ray is fantastic at fixing stuff, he is clueless when it comes to anything techy. Or maybe he wants me to drop everything and film the snake-eating bird in our front yard. I know you're dying to see that video, so I will post it here with a slight warning: It's rated PG for ... you guessed it. Pretty Gross.

  3. Wow! I had to keep watching to see if he would manage it. He was very determined. Having worked on farms at various times there is very little that grosses me out.

  4. Hubby and I are both retired too and we've found that we have our own things that we do during the day and we come together in the afternoon to read and then have dinner. You'll get your routines down, but it takes time.

Loved the video. We watch these birds at our marina eat fish. Same process but the snake put up more of a fight.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥

  5. He will get in the groove and find stuff to do and then you will be looking in checking on him.
We were surprised at the fight that snake put up winding round the beak and head. Once he went limp it was over and he was Outta there! I mean Inta that tummy!
Dad worked ED for years so this didn't even register on his his gross out meter MOL

  7. We have had a taste of what retirement might be like when hubby had to work from home...or worse weven when he was laid off for three months. At least he's back to work...some from home and some from the office.

My work can't be done form home...unless II would bring all the residents I care for at the nursing home to my home, LOL!!

Not much grosses me out either. Health care gets you see way too much gross stuff...

Persistent egret!! He got the prize!! Our dogs try to eliminate the snakes they fin ii our yard, too, but I do not think they would try to eat them...
