Slobber Pillows and Zoomies

Dear Friends,

Bweaking Nooz! Christmas is only 19 sleeps away, so if yoo are stalling to buy presents or write greeting cards, I encourage yoo to get yoor act together today, cuz eating a daily bowl of stress is no way to spend the approaching holidays.

Sadly, not everyone takes my advice. Momma didn’t design our Christmas card until two weeks ago, and then, despite calling the company to make sure envelopes were included with postcards, the envelopes did not arrive. However, because customer service was wrong, they refunded the cost of shipping. So, Momma then jumped on Prime to get them delivered the next day. And, of course, she padded that order with a few things because let’s face it, stress requires comfort, be it sugar, likker, or a little shopping spree.

Then the next day a box arrived from Cat Lover Central, a small company located just up the road from where Momma lived in Michigan. They asked us to review their products and sent the Ultimate Cat Toy Pack --10 toys, some of them stuffed with the bestest smelling catnip in the world. Seriously, the aroma drove me to do zoomies all over the house.

I was the first to inspect the toys because I share an office with Momma. I instantly loved the yooneek shapes and textures of each toy, and I joyfully played with them. But then Gidget came in and started playing. Let me put it this way: Gidget is my least favorite sisfur and I will do anything to ruin her day. Why? Because she snuggles with Momma at night on the other side of the bed from where I’m sleeping, and I don’t like it. I just don’t like my Momma stinking of Gidget. So, Gidget is Numpurr One on my Doody List.

Where was I? Oh! After I chased Gidget out of the office, in comes KC, and he instantly grabs the biggest and bestest toy: a red kicker filled with that Nectar of the Gods-type catnip I mentioned before. And he slobbered all over it. And then he slobbered on a smaller kicker. They were both so soaking wet Momma told the owner of Cat Lover Central she should rename the kickers Slobber Pillows.

The toys were then put out for everyone to inspect and were an instant hit. Huge! Yoo see, my fursibs are mostly seniors and don’t play much anymore. So, our pawrents were very impressed, especially when Opie, who is 15, got all excited and kittenish over the feather teaser toy. He’s kinda arthritic and hasn’t played like that in a very long time. But those toys had him lying in the middle of them, trying to play with everything at once.

This post is not meant to be a commercial, but I believe in troof in advertising, and honestly, we are very impressed by how these simply made toys got such a Huge reaction from all of us. Not just one or two, but all of us. In fact, Daddy had just loaded a box the week before with a bunch of toys we no longer play with to deliver to the shelter, but the next morning the toys from Cat Lover Central were all over the house. Despite being given this box of toys for us to review, Momma is going to put in an order for more. They will make excellent Christmas gifts for Chevy and my daddy Nikolas who live in the garage and don’t play much cuz outdoor cats aren’t accustomed to playing with toys… just live bugs and lizards and stuff.

Well! I’m excited for Santa Claus to come to town. I’ve been a vewy good girl and I expect to receive everything I asked for in my letter to Santa. I’ll post that list next Tuesdays.
